Standard competence      : Understanding the meaning of the functional recount text for accessing the knowledge in daily life.
Basic competence             : (reading, structure simple past tense)
Responding the meaning and rhetorical step in essay text by properly and fluently in daily life context and for accessing the knowledge of the student about recount text and understanding the usage of simple past tense. 
Indicator                   :
-          Using the structure of language in correctly especially in simple past tense.
-          Identifying the main idea of the text
-          Identifying the verbs of the text.
-          Identifying the event in recount text.
Purpose of lesson                 :
-          The student can use the structure of language especially past tense
-          The student able to identify the main idea of the text
-          The student able to identify the verb of the text
-          The student able to identify the event of the text
Material         :
                                    Reading (structure simple past tense)
 Method                    :
-          Explain the material about recount text
-          Give the examples of it
-          Asking and answering about the material
-          Practice (personal)

Time allocation                     :
                                    2 x 45 minutes
 Steps of the lesson activity  
First step ( Pre activity )  10 minutes  ( Building knowledge and Leading question to the topic)
-          Asking the student about simple past tense
-          Asking the student about the activity that  they did yesterday.

Second step (main activity)  10 minutes (Modeling of the text)
-          Give the example how to read to the student and say what kind of text is it.
-          Asking one of them to read the text
-          60minutes (join construction)
-          Explain about recount text and what simple past tense is and the thing that related with simple past tense.
-          Identifying the main idea
-          Identifying the second verb
-          Identifying the adverb of time.)
-          Ask them about the material has been given before by orally.
-          Give some questions about material the material.
Third step ( Post activity ) 10 minutes
-          Give the conclusion about the material has been explained before
-          Give them the assessment. (give a text or make paragraph)
-          Asking them, do they have a question or not

Answer                                  :
Yesterday I went to the Singaraja with my family and the view is very interesting. Especially the sea view. I enjoyed my holiday because of the dolphins. I like dolphins very much. Yesterday I woke up at 03.00 in the morning because I wanted to saw the dolphins in the sea. We went to the sea by boat When we arrived in the sea, we saw many dolphins plaid around the sea. I also saw my friends from singaraja there. We was so happy with it.
